Soft, lush, elastic and incredibly tasty - all this is about homemade cakes, which can be an excellent substitute for purchased bakery products. The special charm of such flat cakes is that they are baked in a dry frying pan. Oil lubricated after, and then at will.
These flat cakes are good both warm and cold. They are perfectly baked in minutes. Such flat cakes are easily divided along, which allows using them not only in their original form, but also as a basis for the filling.
For cooking will need:
- 1-1.1 kg of flour;
- 2 cups warm water;
- 2 glasses of low-fat yogurt at room temperature;
- 1 tsp salt;
- 40 g of normal yeast (can be replaced by 10 g of dry).
In the sifted flour add chopped yeast and salt and mix well.
Pour in the yogurt, lightly mix and add warm water.
Mix the dough well. If necessary, moisten hands with water a little. We get a soft, elastic, not sticky to the hands of the dough. Cover the dough and let it go. It can take about 30-40 minutes.
When the dough came up again, knead it and divide it into pieces.
After pouring flour over the work surface, roll out the tortillas and send them to a well warmed pan.
As soon as the cake has browned on one side, it can be turned over.
The finished cake becomes fluffy.
After removing the cakes from the pan, they grease them with butter. This is not necessary immediately. The hotter the cake, the more oil it will absorb.
